Jennifer Tilly is an American poker player and actress. She is most remembered in the Child’s Play series (1998–) as Tiffany Valentine. Her first notable acting appearance was on the sitcom Shaping Up (1984), followed the same year by her film debut in No Small Affair.

She is well known for her distinctive voice and comic timing. Tilly is a bracelet winner of the World Series of Poker Ladies ‘game, the first celebrity to win a World Series tournament. She is the actress’s older sister Meg Tilly. Tilly rose to attention when she was nominated for an Academy Award for her portrayal of Olive Neal in the 1994 movie Bullets over Broadway, by Woody Allen.

She is also credited for providing Bonnie Swanson’s voice on the animated television show Family Guy (1999–present). In 1993, Tilly was the recipient of a Theater World Award for her role in One Shoe Off The Off-Broadway play. Her other credits for the stage include The Women’s Broadway revivals (2001), and Don’t Dress for Dinner (2012).

Tilly was born on September 16, 1958, Jennifer Ellen Chan in Harbor City, Los Angeles). She is Harry Chan’s first daughter, a used car retailer, and Patricia (nĂ©e Tilly), a Canadian schoolteacher and former stage actress. Her age is 62 years.

Her father was Chinese and her mother was of Irish and Finnish descent. She has an older brother, Steve, and two younger sisters, Rebecca and Meg. After her parents ‘divorce when she was five, Tilly was born on rural Texada Island, British Columbia by her mother and stepfather, John Ward.
